Here is a little inside tip: Our Statistic show that couples that opt for the first look tend to gain 30 to 40% more portrait photos of their BIG DAY. Also when we ask the Bride & Groom which is their own personal heart felt sought out photos that means the most to them; The answer is always the First Look pictures. The reaction and emotions felt by both the Bride and especially the Groom are “indescribable” , this is something we highly recommend for our wedding couples to experience. Take it from us, some of our Bride’s and Groom’s say the same thing ” We thought that the First Look would take away from that special moment” but for those that opted to do so will tell you that the First Look is one of the breathtaking highlighted moments of the entire wedding that they would not give up for anything and furthermore all the brides tells us that by doing the first look it helped them calm their nerves and be prepared for to walks down the aisle.

Also from the beginning of the reception right after the toast’s Leissy’s, sister engaged in a special dedication ” check out the photos of her belly dancing” and Leissy’s Mother hired a Michael Jackson impersonator that DJ Nikki K worked secretly behind the scenes with to incorporate this special performance for the Bride & Groom and guests.

Shadowbrook located at Shewsbury NJ is a beautiful place to have a true NJ Garden Wedding Ceremony. Compared to thousands of Wedding Ceremony locations, Shadowbrook provides a romantic garden setting for the most romantic weddings.

Depending on how you manage your wedding; separating the ceremony location from the reception is one of those plans that is either delightful or dreadful. Consider having the ceremony at a neutral location can only benefit you and your guest.

Sometimes having your ceremony in a church there are restrictions. For example most churches do not allow any external lighting devices , shot has flash photography and even off camera lighting for the videographer/cinematographers. Love is all around us and spring has sprung, this is one of the best times to capture the emotions with an engagement session. Most people hesitate about engagement sessions because they just do not know much about them.

Here are a few simple tips:

Advance planning helps engaged couples make the most of their pictures and keep in mind that by having an engagement session you will have the opportunity to obtain beautiful casual pictures rather than the ones from your wedding in your wedding attire.

An engagement session is 1 to 2 hours, depending on location or locations and if the couple will be changing outfits. Couples should take the time to really think about their location and what time of year as these elements will become the backdrop that the photographer has to work with.

What to wear for my engagement session?
Well, keep in mind rules are sometimes meant to be broken so in this case I will give you suggestions rather than rules and remember this type of photography session is an art form not a science.

Wear solid colors or simple patterns and a cute cocktail dress just don’t over do it and stick to fitted clothing anything baggy will make you look bigger than you are. Of course this suggestion depends on the season on the flip side a layer look does look good as well.

Talent was at an all time high on April 6th at Shannon Rose in WoodBridge NJ.  DJ CA and DJ Nikki K rock’d the house and not only did we have fun doing it but the people from the restaurant rushed in and the dancefloor was packed well over 100 plus people and you guessed it; all three bartenders were busy.  We also took it to another level a HUGE fundraiser supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society needed to collected over $750 and we superseded the expectation, Yes Entertainment is Key to a Successful Event. Congratulations to everyone that won the gifts and prizes and thank you to the crew at Shannon Rose also the Band “Beer Googles”: for rocking out with us.  A BIG THANKS and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chris Atwood and many more to come, we are already planning next year’s B-Day Bash and all I can say is; one of New Jersey’s Hottest Club DJ’s birthday also falls with mine and Chris’s B-Day (hint look into my Facebook picture that was taken last year at Atlantic City and you might be able to figure out whom I am speaking about. Wow Ultimate Party Central’s very own DJ Nikki K and MC Robert C really “Rocked” Kimberly and Xavier NJ Wedding at Seabra Armory in Perth Amboy.  For starters Ultimate Party Central transformed the room with led uplighting dynamically color controlled to a beautiful lavish environment down to an elegant club atmospheric vibe along with 2 LED monitor Screens that displayed a live feed of the dance floor, a customized montage, music videos and our signature “UPC Fusion” (call to learn more about UPC Fusion – Its Amazing what the innovations of UPC can bring to any event)  absolutely stunning, no need to take it from me see for yourself :

DJ Nikki K along with Kimberly and Xavier were able to plan a traditional Portuguese influenced spectrum for all guests to part take in. Further more we even took it to another level not just with the music and the lighting but we had an entourage of official Portuguese Dancers and Singers serenade  the Bride, Groom and guests.

Since there were many people from all different locations “globally” we utilized our photo booth to obtain the wonderful memories as a keep sake but instead of the traditional Photo Booth Strip we made a simple elegant postcard Designed Layout .

One good thing leads to another, the party was such a success that we are set to rock out yet again with the family and friends;  this time it’s for Xavier’s brother  ”Kenny” our future Groom along with his Bride to be “Brittney”. Jennifer and Kevin were a treat to work with starting off from the their engagement session and now to their wedding Celebrations. The couple had a plan of their own and was able to incorporate their vision through our professional expertise.

For starters we introduced  the “Wedding Shoe Game” some of us may not know what that is, allow me to explain it.The game is usually introduced by the DJ, either straight after dinner, or during the party time. “we did it right after the toasts while the staff at Perona Farms were just about ready to serve salad.

Here we go… the shoe game is a fun wedding reception party game for the bride and groom, which tests how much they know each other – in a fun and hilarious way. The game is played by putting two chairs back to back in the center of the dance-floor – where the guests can see them. The bride and the groom then sit on the chairs back to back, so they are facing away from each other.

They are then asked to remove both their shoes and exchange one of their shoes with each other – so that the groom has his shoe in one hand and the bride’s shoe in the other. The bride also has her shoe in one hand and the groom’s shoe in the other.

Robert C. our MC then asks the fun shoe game questions and the happy couple answer the questions by holding up either their shoe, or their partner’s shoe to answer the question. This game is usually introduced as ‘who knows who better?’. Then questions like “Who has the best taste in music?” , “Who wears the pants in the relationship?” , “Who’s in control over the remote?”  and the bride and groom can raise a shoe to answer. Sometimes their answers may not match and this is how the hilarity begins, especially if you have great questions to ask.

Jennifer and Kevin built a fabulous rapport with us here at Ultimate Party Central and vice versa. Together we crafted a special once in a lifetime celebration that incorporated several heightened elements such as our dynamic LED Ambient Room Uplighting Decor, LED Monitor Screen which displayed; videos, live feed, zap shots, a custom montage and our newly introduced UPC Fusion. UPC Fusion was introduced in 2012 under the name UPC live and during the process we decided to rename it to UPC Fusion, UPC Fusion is one of our latest creations that allow our  party goers to take pictures from their cell phone cameras and it gets displayed on our TV Monitors for all to see and participate, further more all pictures can be printed on the spot and it doesn’t stop there, we also provided a digital copy for all to share and to have as a keepsake gift of the memories.

Needless to  say the dance floor was packed for the entire course of the night and when it came to a close we invited everyone outside to give memorable send off to our newlyweds . We had everyone participate with the lighting of sky lanterns immediately after the wedding reception. Perona Farms celebrating their 95th anniversary and bringing the garden state a new barn house reception.

Congratulations to Perona Farms as they are celebrating their 95th anniversary, as they started back in 1917 and made so many memories and dreams come true; and as of 2013 they are officially renovating their barn specifically dedicated to host private events and allow those that are looking to have a rustic barn garden state experience.  Photos and the status of the renovation project can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/PeronaFarms

We had a blast at Holly’s Sweet 16 in Colts Neck New Jersey  this weekend!  We surprised Holly and her guests with an awesome customized ambiance. Dj Nikki K and Ultimate Party Central staff provided a custom dj entertainment experience for Holly’s “Hollywood Theme – Sweet 16″ our popular production elements that was provided are 4 intelligent lighting fixtures on led lit-up towers along with our light up dj front board and LED Photo booth all lit up in red.

Furthermore the photo booth had stanchions to guide the line of party goes to 2 elements; one of which was prominent the LED Photo booth and right beside that was a Carnival Billboard which was one of the alternatives to our step and repeat backdrop which is always displayed at  Hollywood Premiers. But to her surprise we decided to transform our  photo booth attends to motivative dancers at her sweet 16, that was just one of the things that we preplanned as a surprise element.

A sweet sixteen birthday party is one of the most enjoyable and memorable moments in a person’s life.

It can be completely formal, semi-formal, or simply casual. However, a majority of sweet sixteen birthday parties are done in the most informal and casual manner, just for teenagers to have loads of fun and excitement. There are many conventional parts in a sixteenth birthday party; such as candle-lighting ceremony, shoe and tiara ceremony, a dance of the father and daughter, slide shows of the birthday boy’s or girl’s memorable events in the lifetime, etc.

Holly’s Hollywood Sweet 16 is unique in such a way that it represented her and her friends and family to make them feel like everyone was a super star, even down to the music selection she incorporated within our online planning form, key genres that Holly knew that her guest would enjoy. DJ Nikki K once again delivers with his special open format dj style by incorporating Oldies, Disco, Motown, 60 – 90′s and all the way down the most current year to date songs that guess enjoyed on the dance floor.

Dj Nikki K stated “It’s really a small world, it came to a surprise that I knew someone that I met 2 years ago at a corporate function that I had the privilege to provide the entertainment for and sometimes being behind the turn tables I wonder if people will remember my face or my talents. Well, Ann Marie made it clear that my talents and my face were not to be forgotten as she approached me with open arms and what a wonderful greeting that was”  To most I make it look easy, mashing and  blending music but to all I keep them moving on or off their seats.”

The company celebrates the grand opening of eight new stores in seven states, including Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York,North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Our Led Photobooth was a truly the talk of the night but the entertainment didn’t stop there our premiere DJ Nikki K was personally requested to host the entertainment inthe casino room where craps tables , black jack table , roulette, Slot machines, texas holdem , three card poker , carribean stud, let it ride, and the money wheel; was all part of the enhancements and excitement.

I had the opportunity to speak with Nikki K after the event, ” What an amazing accomplishment that Kohl’s has successfully built such an empire that many people flock to all year round, I honestly do not know anyone that hasn’t visited kohl’s and if they haven’t they are missing out! It was such an honor to meet so many smiling faces and to be part of the celebration. To me Kohl’s represents something that I always believe in; quality brands, value and convenience and to invite so many Kohl’s employees approximately ”375″ for a dinner meeting and celebration spoke proudly of how kohl’s respects the employees and a fruitful future they have to look forward too.
